Why I wanted to get into the Oculofacial Plastics field

Since the beginning of my career, I have always been fascinated by plastic surgery and aesthetics. When I met Dr. Wilkes and started seeing him perform cosmetic, functional, and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face, I was fascinated. I knew that this was a field that I wanted to learn and grow in.

My philosophy

My philosophy is that the patient is a part of their care team. I strive to work with my patients to determine the best course of treatment specific to them. Each patient may have different goals, situations, and limitations. Their plan of care should be customized to them, while still following best practices.

What I love about being at McFarland’s

What I love most about working at McFarland’s is the people and patients that I am about to work with every day. We are so blessed with the best doctors, coworkers, and patients. Most days, it does not feel like work at all because of the people I am surrounded by.

Favorite part of my job

My favorite part of my job is getting to see patients all the way through from their initial appointments to their post op appointments. I love seeing their amazing results and hearing how happy they are!
